Ordering and payment

Meal is a "freemium" meal planning application that you can use for free. Some functionality of the application can only be used when you become a "Premium" member.

To become a Premium member you pay a monthly subscription of $ 9.99 incl VAT per month or $ 59.99 incl VAT per year. You can cancel your membership at any time by sending an e-mail to hello@meal.com. When you sign-up for an annual subscription we always send you an email 7 and 3 days before the renewal of your yearly subscription. With a monthly subscription you have to keep an eye on this yourself. But you will get notified when the new monthly subscription has been paid.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the date of the conclusion of the agreement.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us [Paleo BV, Hazepad 15 A4, 4825 AV in Breda, hello@meal.com] of your unambiguous statement (eg in writing by post or e-mail) about your decision to revoke the agreement. You can use the enclosed model form for withdrawal, but you are not obliged to do this. You can also fill in the form for withdrawal or another clearly formulated statement electronically and send it through our website [hello@meal.com]. If you use this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of your cancellation.

Consequences of the cancellation

If you cancel the contract, you will receive the money back except for the period that you were able to use the subscription. That is, the period between the conclusion of the agreement and the moment of cancellation.

For example: on July 1 you conclude an agreement with us and on July 8 you decide to cancel the agreement. Then you will receive a reimbursement of the subscription costs minus a proportional part, because you were able to use our service in the period 1 to 8 July.

You will receive the money from us immediately and in any case no later than 14 days after we have been informed by your decision to cancel the agreement. We will pay you back with the same payment method as you used for the original transaction.

You can always reach us by e-mail via hello@meal.com or by post via Meal, Hazepad 15-A4, 4825AV Breda, The Netherlands if you have complaints or suggestions about our services. We will respond to your complaint within 14 days. If you do not agree with our solution or if we cannot resolve it together, you can submit your complaint via the European ODR Platform.
