Olive oil (mild)
White wine vinegar
Finely cut the shallot and garlic.
Put the shallot, garlic, basil leaves, olive oil and vinegar in a blender.
Mix into an even mixture.
Taste the dressing and season with salt and pepper.
Put the dressing in a clean glass jar and store in the refrigerator. This will stay fresh and tasty for at least 3 days.
