Peel the avocado and cut into slices together with the strawberries. Chop the almond flakes.

Place a pan on a high heat.

Dab the meat dry with a paper towel and season both sides to taste with salt and pepper.

Add the butter to the pan. When it has melted place the steak in the pan.

Fry the steak for 3 minutes on each side (medium-rare).

Leave the steak to rest for 5 minutes on the chopping board.

Toss the arugula with the olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Divide the arugula over 2 plates and place the avocado slices, strawberry slices and almonds on top.

Slice the steak (against the grain) and place on top of the salad.
