The perfect comfort food. Not too difficult to make and is on the table in next to no time. The ultimate finger-licking food. Together with a marinade, to be eaten with your fingers in front of the TV. Simply delicious.
Coconut oil (melted)
Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a big bowl and mix thoroughly. Stir the chicken wings into the marinade.
Leave to stand (preferably overnight) or for a couple of hours in the fridge.
Snipper the onion and finely press the garlic.
Put a large pan on the heat, add the ghee and heat until it melts.
Fry the chicken with the garlic and onion on all sides, on a medium-high heat.
Turn the heat down and put the pan lid on. Fry the chicken for 15 minutes, turning over every now and then until golden brown.
You can use the leftover marinade to make a very tasty sauce to go with the wings.
