Cut the core from the apple and cut the half apple in small cubes.

Chop the shallot finely.

Drain the tuna.

Mix the tuna, mayonnaise, apple and shallot in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Wash the cucumber and cut into slices of around 2 cm thickness. Use a melon spoon or teaspoon to slightly hollow out the slices.

Fill the cavities in the cucumber discs with the tuna salad.
