This soup is slightly different than you are used to from a soup. That is what makes this soup so special. Chances are you've never tasted it this way. This is due to the SMOKED paprika powder. The starting point was to make a surprising soup, without much hassle. We didn't feel like grilling the red peppers first, then skinning them, etc. Just hop everything into the slow cooker and go. The smoked paprika gives an amazing smoky flavor (you may have to get used to it, but give it a try) and the chili powder will keep you sharp.
