Place a large pot of water on the stove and put it on high heat.

Peel the onions and cut into rings. Peel the parsnips and cut into cubes. Grate the carrot and cut it into cubes.

Put the ingredients in a pan and make sure everything is just under water.

Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Does the water boil? Turn the wick over medium-low heat.

Cook gently, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a frying pan. You can cut the bacon into pieces. If you have less time, bake them whole 😉

Add the fresh sausages to the bacon with the bacon. If necessary, add some oil.

Are the vegetables cooked? Drain the parsnip pan and save the moisture.

Add a tablespoon (or two) of liquid and mash it into a nice stew.

Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste. The best is to grate a fresh nutmeg.

Serve a large scoop of stew and sausage on a plate.
