Ice Cream & Desserts
So simple, so tasty, healthy and a joy to watch. I'm talking about these chocolate banana ice creams of course! Inspired by the ice creams I ate at Veganz in Germany (totally lost the name of the brand). These were simply frozen fruits on a stick. How cleverly conceived ?! The delicious taste of fruit and also super fresh! Now I like to make ice cream myself and I prefer to eat fruit right away. Putting a perfectly ripe mango in your freezer is a shame in my opinion. So I've never made this myself before, until yesterday! I opened the freezer to get my frozen bananas in front of a big bowl of banana ice cream when I got a hunch. Saturday evening I had made chocolate sauce myself for dessert and there was still a lot left over. Banana dipped in chocolate with nuts suddenly seemed like a great idea. Quickly I warmed the chocolate sauce with a stick in the frozen banana, put it through the sauce and immediately dipped into a container with pieces of almonds. Result? HEAVEN ON EARTH! I am not exaggerating! These banana ice creams are better than snicker ice creams (my favorite when I wasn't eating vegan yet). So this was my breakfast yesterday and sneaky again this morning and I can't promise to eat anything else this week! Can you blame me ?!
