Healthy to get through the holidays? Then I have 3 simple tips for you. 1. Go for a healthy alternative. There is a beautifully filled table in the middle of the room with baking chips, snacks, bread and sweets. First comment? Dive in! After all, it is Christmas and then you can! Is that also the case, but you don't want to go to the gym in January to sweat all those extra holiday pounds off? Then choose a healthy alternative. Make sure you have some goodies with you that you can eat a lot and enjoy. Think hummus, a sweet potato spread or a tasty guacamole. Make this before you go to friends or family and just put it on the table. I always like it when people bring snacks, so I know that there is something for everyone! 2. Stop when you have enough. This always seems to be quite a challenge, because you don't let all that great food stand alone? You don't have to, put it in containers and eat it for lunch the next day. But don't eat when you're full. This is the worst thing you can do for your stomach. This must then work overtime to digest everything so that you will have a large after dinner dip and will walk around with a block on your stomach all evening. Do not! 3. One less drink .. Phew, I'm not going to endear myself to that! A drink less is only the tip of the day. These calorie bombs are a party in time but do yourself a favor and enjoy less - plus you'll be thankful to yourself the next day! What you drink then? Good that you ask! This blog would not exist if I were not a nice & healthy alternative for these kinds of issues! A cozy drink is easily made with these festive ice cubes! Great through your water or spa!
