Mango smoothie bowl

This weekend I made huge purchases on the market again. On Friday there is a great organic market stall in Utrecht where, if possible, I get all my fruit and vegetables for the whole week. Because we no longer live in Utrecht, this does not always work, but last week everything went well, so that I could quickly go to the market at the end of the day. How I can enjoy all the beautiful vegetables they have there, just fresh from the land, complete with leaves and stems. If they didn't know better at home, I could tell them I just picked it myself! Because I was quite late last week, most vegetables were already gone, luckily there was still plenty of fruit. I had two big bags with me and I filled them up completely. Wonderful feeling to know that I can fill my baskets, bowls and fruit boxes at home with the tastiest fruits! All I missed were mangoes. Fortunately, we decided to stay in Utrecht for a weekend and the next day I got it on the "regular" market. They were still very hard so I knew I had to wait a few days and today it was time. Super soft and ripe time to dive into the kitchen. I actually thought it was a shame to use them in a recipe where you would only taste the taste so I decided to make mango puree. Two ingredients and two minutes later I had a delicious smoothie bowl in front of me, fresh, sweet and delicious as a snack. If you have overripe mangoes, this is a perfect recipe to use them for!
