This weekend I finally had time to really get back into the kitchen. No appointments planned, no trips on the agenda. Just having three at home, all weekend long! I can't remember the last weekend that I could totally focus on coming up with recipes and writing my blog! What a party! You could also see it from the recipes I think .. All raw vegan and that while I love a delicious baking! That will change from now on, promise! Tasty breads, a cake and muffins are planned for the next 2 weeks. And we start with crackers today. In my search for a savory snack for in between, Timo said he wanted an avocado cracker. No crackers in the house means making your own! So hop into the kitchen looking for a quick and easy recipe for a tasty savory cracker. There I found out that I did not have any flour in the house (preperation is key !!) but luckily I did have oatmeal. So they have become oat crackers, but I am sure you can also make them with a different type of flour! These crackers are nutritious, quick to make and delicious just warm from the oven with half an avocado or some homemade humus.
