Apple cider vinegar

Chop the apple into large pieces and combine it with 1 cup of coconut milk in a saucepan. Puree it with an immersion blender until smooth. This is also possible in a regular blender.
Add the mustard powder, apple cider vinegar, sage, salt and pepper and heat until just not boiling. Lower the heat and let the sauce simmer gently for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, make a liquid paste of the arrowroot together with 1 teaspoon of coconut milk in bowl.
Gradually pour the arrowroot porridge into the sauce with 1 hand while stirring well with a whisk. This is to prevent lumps from forming.
Heat for another minute until the sauce has thickened, stirring frequently.
Serve the sauce hot or cold with, for example, fried white fish, a pork steak, chicken fillet, whatever you want. Enjoy your meal!
