Coarsely chop the onion and peel the garlic. Grate the ginger and finely chop the herbs.
Combine all ingredients except the ground beef and coconut oil in the bowl of a small food processor and grind into a spice paste.
Knead the spice paste through the minced meat and then form 4 burgers from the mixture by hand.
Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for 5-6 minutes per side on medium-low heat until golden brown and cooked through.
