Pour half of the coconut milk into the blender and add maple syrup, egg yolks, chocolate, cocoa and vanilla.

Grind until the chocolate pieces are blended well into the mixture. Pour the mixture into a pan, and add the remaining coconut milk.

Heat the mixture to 185°F while stirring constantly.

Allow the mixture to cool completely and then follow the instructions of your ice cream maker to make the ice cream.
