Preheat the oven to 400 .
Chop the onion.
Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan and glaze the chopped onion.

Divide the mixture into 12-15 equal pieces and using your hands make them into balls.
Place the meatballs into an oven dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Meanwhile make the sauce. Put the cranberries and cherries into a saucepan and, stirring occasionally, cook for 20 minutes until they have reduced to the consistency of a thick sauce.
