Sweet potato (peeled and diced)
Onion (finely chopped.)
Bring the sweet potato cubes to the boil in a pan with water. Cook in 8 minutes.
In the meantime, stir-fry the spinach until it has softened. Remove directly from the pan and squeeze as much moisture as possible with a clean tea towel.
Drain the sweet potato cubes and mash smooth with an immersion blender.
Stir the spinach, onion, eggs, chestnut flour, thyme, cumin seeds and salt into the puree.
Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan. Always take a large spoonful of the mixture and drop it in the hot oil. Press the ball slightly flat with the back of a spoon.
In this way, fry 6 burgers at a time and repeat until the batter is finished.
Bake the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and done.
