Peel the sweet potato and dice, dice the beetroot and peel the ginger.

Bring the sweet potato to a boil in a pan with water and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Drain the sweet potato and allow to cool.

Put the sweet potato together with the other ingredients in a blender and grind into a smooth, thick smoothie.
