Venison (deer) steak
Cut the figs into quarters and put them in a saucepan with the balsamic vinegar. Bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, pat the venison steaks dry and heat the coconut oil in a frying pan.
Fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side. Let them rest on a plate and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Serve with figs cooked in balsamic vinegar.
