A scrumptious little recipe, namelyPaleo Ferrero Rocher. You're bound to enjoy these. As you most probably know the original chocolates contain quite a lot of sugar. But it's easy to make them yourself and a lot healthier. Very nice as a snack or to go with a cup of coffee or tea.
Put 1/2 cup of hazelnuts into a food processor and finely grind them. Put them into a small bowl. Put 1/8 of a cup aside for decoration.
Put the dates into the food processor and blend until they form a ball.
Add the hazelnut flour, vanilla extract and the maple syrup and pulse until you have a smooth mixture.
Take a whole hazelnut and using a small amount of date mixture form a ball around it.
Finely chop the rest of the hazelnuts. Roll the balls through the chopped hazelnuts.
