Preheat the oven to 325°F. Destone the dates and wrap every date in bacon. Place the dates on an oven dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Put a grill pan on the heat. Cut the eggplant into slices and grill these on both sides.

Clean the figs and blend these together with the olive oil, salt and pepper.

Divide the lettuce, tomatoes and grilled eggplant over the plates.

Take the dates out of the oven and finish off the salad using the dates and dressing.
