A lot of chocolate which contain something more than just chocolate also contains all kinds of additives too, especially the chocolate which is sold in the supermarket. It is very easy to make chocolate yourself ... and easy to eat as well!
Heat a pan with a layer of water on the fire until it does not boil just yet.
Place a plastic (heat-resistant) or metal container in the pan (ensure that the container is in the water, but that no water enters it).
Crumble the chocolate in the container and let it melt gently.
Cover a baking tin with baking paper and spoon the chocolate on it.
Spread the chocolate in a thin layer over the tin.
Sprinkle the tropical mix (mixed nuts with fruit) over the chocolate, so there is about the same amount of fruit and nuts everywhere
Place the tin in the fridge for about 15 minutes (longer is also possible).
Break the chocolate into pieces and serve in a dish or bowl.
