We love some sweets with tea and that is why we regularly make these healthier chocolates. In the weekend too tasty treat with tea or coffee.
Oatmeal (gluten free)
2 3⁄4 Tbsp
Cut the dates open and remove the stone. You can still cut them in four if your food processor is not very strong.
Then put all ingredients in your food processor, but keep the grated coconut aside. Turn on your food processor and grind the ingredients. It now becomes a large ball of 'dough'.
If the mixture remains very wet, add some oatmeal. If it stays too dry, you can add some extra dates or a splash of water.
Prepare a deep plate and put the coconut in it. Make 6-8 smaller balls of the dough and then roll them through the coconut. Put in the fridge for at least half an hour and they are ready to eat!
You can vary the toppings of the balls, so it is also very nice to roll them through the cocoa, sesame or chia seeds.
